On the climb away from runway 34R, this Navy C-40A Clipper (165835) was a "blink and you missed seeing it" type of visitor. It was only at Reno long enough to land, taxi to the Atlantic Aviation ramp, open the cabin door, board a dozen or so pax, button up, taxi, and hammer out of here. Click on FULL and check out how the light is reflecting off the fuselage. This Clipper has been in the Navy inventory for quite a while, but it was gleaming like it had been "spit shined." (Active duty mil and vets will know what I'm talking about.) Sharp-looking Navy fleetbird. Bravos!
